Hiroshi Yata
The plain, ordinary hero of the story. He has high aspirations for a manga-drawing career, so while him and his friend Ja-- err, Tokyo, were attending college they decided to ditch school and bought tickets for the first flight out to Japan.

Tokyo convinced his friend Hiroshi to drop-out of college and they headed for Japan. He has a love for all-things mecha anime and a bitter hatred for Francine. He secretely wishes to move to Japan due to his bizarre fetish towards Japanese school girls.

Francine
Francine has an extreme dislike towards Hiroshi that she has carried since before anyone knows. She was unintentionally enrolled in the student exchange program for Japan (she actually wanted to move to Germany for a few years and learn how to shout profanities like her role-model Adolf), and somehow ended up on Hiroshi and Tokyo's flight.

Ishikori is the daughter of Satan. She is also, outside of her father's knowledge, the leader of the Skanky Bitch Whore Gang. She speaks very little Japanese.
